2011 Outdoor Demo – day 2
The second day of the Interbike Outdoor Demo started with a heavy rain but that did not stop dealers from checking out the various bikes and other gear available for demo.
Rain actually threatened quite a bit longer but by 10am it started to dry out. Plus the cooler temperatures were welcomed by exhibitors and trade visitors alike.
We bumped into Heather Jackson and Jesse Thomas today, noticed bikes from Leopard and Giant, a new light from Lezyne and various other goodies.

The morning rains brought out some interesting outfits but did not seem to dampen the spirits.
The Pearl Izumi Sun Sleeves seemed very popular, maybe more so as arm warmers today.
There were flash flooding warning all morning, but they might not really impact this Oakley vehicle.
These very distinctive Oakley Fast Jacket colors made it easier for the Oakley crew to see their demo glasses out and about.
Nuun cruised around with this icicle bicycle and offered nuun beverages and of course ice pops.
Yesterday was a much better day fr these pops but that did not stop folks today from grabbing one of these.
The Leopard Cycles M2 is a newer bike for that brand.
The Surly Pugsly and other bikes along those lines were very popular at Outdoor Demo.
Heather Jackson finished 4th at 70.4 Worlds and was cruising the Interbike Outdoor Demo show.
There were plenty of cool beverages to pick from at this event.
Wildflower winner Jesse Thomas was also spotted at the Interbike Outdoor Demo. This though is his first attendance at the show.
The Lezyne Super Drive light puts out 450 lumens.
Robin Nearn of Clovis, CA is awaiting her test ride on the Felt DA.
This Specialized Venge is being prepped for Brian of Southwest Sounds and Cyclery.
The Giant TCR Composite was popular with test riders and unlike other manufacturers who number their bikes, Giant opted to name them. In this case, this TCR Composite in size ML is named Charlie.
Chris DiStefano of Chris King and Andrew Juskaitis of Giant Bicycles are enjoying a cup of Chris King ice coffee.
The outside corner location for the Boombotix brand did not stop them from getting noticed. They took their show on the road.

Caspar Rubalcava of Yakima shows off the profile of the Yakima Whispbar.
The promised later rains didn't come and riders were able to enjoy cooler but dry temperatures most of the day.
