What We Have Noticed: Assos, Norseman …

This week we came across new shades from Assos, a Norseman book, a camp with Eduardo Sturla, a survival blanket and coasters made from race bibs.

Assos Zegho

What: The Assos Zegho shades are a pretty new product for the Swiss company and just like their clothing they are quite expensive. The featured Werksmannschaft version runs Carl Zeiss optics (as do the other 2 options) and allows you to really make a statement when you show up for your next ride.
Colors: Noire / Amplify / Werksmannschaft
MSRP: starting at $399
Website: assos.com

Norseman – the book

What: You may have seen some of Kai-Otto Melau's stunning Norseman images online over the years, but now you can see some of his greatest pictures in a book. The copy inside is written by Norseman founder, Paal Hårek Stranheim, and 3-time winner, Susanne Buckenlei. This isn't the official book of the event but it is endorsed by the Norseman.
Pages: 102
MSRP: $64.95

Eduardo Sturla Unlimited

What: If you live near São Paulo, Brazil the Eduardo Sturla Unlimited training camp weekend is pretty much a no brainer, but it might also be an interesting adventure for folks further away. Use those frequent flyer miles to get to the camp and add a few days of vacation after. You may even win some cool raffle prizes from Eduardo Sturla's sponsors.
Date: December 3 and 4
MSRP: n/a

Adventure Survival Blanket

What: As the days are getting shorter and the temperatures cooler and cooler, it might be a good time to consider carrying an emergency blanket on longer runs or rides. This blanket doesn't tear easily, reflects 90% of your body heat and fits two people. So just make sure that you like being close to the person you are venturing out with.
Colors: Does it really matter?
MSRP: $6

Race bib coasters

What: Most of us have a few race bib numbers floating around in a closet or in a box in the basement, but have no real plans for them. A store on etsy.com will convert them for you into coasters and this way you can make really good use of them. Plus you can brag about those achievements without being too obvious.
MSRP: starting at $22
