Busy traffic on Tempe Town Lake.

Quite a few spectators made it to the race start early in the morning.

Danish Pro Michelle Vesterby would end up 5th at the end.

Ready to get on that bike.

Very early in the bike segment for Kelly Williamson.

Jordan Rapp didn't feel well at all but always looks good on the bike.

Age grouper Jen Harrison on the way to grab a Kona slot.

This man turned quite a few heads with his unique race kit.

Amanda Stevens led most of the day but would finish 4th.

The day for Timothy O'Donnell did not end as he most likely would have liked.

Linsey Corbin went sub-9 on her way to second place.

A record breaking day for Eneko Llanos – he went 7:59:38 and now holds the North American Ironman record.

Paul Amey gave Eneko Llanos quite the fight but had to settle for a fine second place.

A seemingly content Kevin Taddonio also made an effort to express himself in Arizona.

Leanda Cave was on a mission today and finally added an Ironman title to her impressive resume.

Torsten Abel took fourth place in Tempe.

Yes, here is that Ironman title, and a sub-9 one to boot.

Second and third placed Linsey Corbin and Meredith Kessler are fast good friends.

We think this man may have been the fastest age groupers, but without results can't confirm it.

Tenth place for Charisa Wernick.
