Lynskey Helix OS LTD SRAM
Lynskey Performance just announced a LTD Edition Helix OS / SRAM 2012 Red with paint scheme that matches the new SRAM Red group quite nicely, but if you want one you may need to hurry – only 30 will be made.
Lynskey partnered with SRAM to get the correct colors and official permission to use the logos, and the result is quite fetching. Word has it that 10 of them are already spoken for.
Only 30 of these Lynskey Performance LTD Edition Helix OS / SRAM Red bikes will be made.
The signature of David Lynskey plus the numbers 1/30 etc will be under the final coats of clear.
The SRAM Red rear derailleur is attached to a beautifully sculpted dropout.
SRAM Red front derailleur and cranks.
Zipp Service Course SL bars and stem.
The new SRAM Red levers feel very nice.
Looking past the headtube badge the tube shapes of the Helix are very obvious.
Up front an ENVE fork, Zipp Firecrest 303 wheel and SRAM Red front brake.
The transition from paint to naked titanium and the SRAM Red rear brake.
A Selle Italia SLR saddle on top of the Zipp Service Course SL post.
Michelin PRO 4 Service Course tires are mounted to the Zipp Firecrest 303 wheel.
With an MSRP of $8689.00 this bike is certainly not inexpensive, but the chance of another person you ride with being on one is quite slim. The bike featured here is not numbered as it is the prototype / looking sample.
