Challenge Roth 2012 – day 1

The expo at Challenge Roth 2012 started today at noon, and we have snapped a few images from our first day on the ground in Germany.

On Sunday more than 3200 individual athletes plus 600 relay teams will toe to the start line of the ETU European Long Distance Triathlon Championships in this beautiful region.

Big welcome banners are placed in various spots of this quaint town.

The bulk of athletes has not yet arrived, but they are still easily found all over town.

People can find out their bib number from these public posted sheets. But they also learned that certain Spinergy wheels are not good to go on the course.

The line started to get busy a couple minutes after noon.

Most folks though came for the beer.
