Rappstar’s 4th Annual World Bicycle Relief Charity Challenge: Part Two

Many thanks to those who have already donated to this year’s Challenge. In just six full days, we’ve already raised $8,079 – a fantastic start towards our goal of $50,250 (375 bikes total). We hope to continue the momentum!

Remember, you can donate ANY amount, but ONLY donations of $134 or more (the cost of one bicycle) will make you eligible for prizes. For every multiple of $134 that you donate, you get another entry. $268 earns you double eligibility, $402 earns triple, etc.

You can enter online at our donation page:

http://ironmanfoundation.org/rappstarcharitychallenge

Or via snail-mail at the following address:

World Bicycle Relief
Attn: Development
1333 N. Kingsbury Street
4th Floor
Chicago, IL 60642

Similar to last year, the challenge awards will be done electronically, on a roll-down system. So, the first person will get first pick of awards, second place gets second choice, etc. Award drawing tickets will be assigned automatically from the donations, so please make sure to give us an email or phone number (or both) where we can reach you.

Thanks for your support!

Kiwami USA: TWO (separate prizes) $150 gift certificates. (Total contribution: $300)

Hachette Publishers & Chrissie Wellington: 100 copies of A Life Without Limits. (MSRP $2800)

As always, we have a special prize for the first 100 people who donate at least one bicycle. This year, Chrissie Wellington and Hachette Book Publishers have stepped up to give 100 copies of Chrissie’s excellent book, A Life Without Limits.

In 2007, Chrissie Wellington shocked the triathlon world by winning the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii. As a newcomer to the sport and a complete unknown to the press, Chrissie's win shook up the sport. A Life Without Limits is the story of her rise to the top, a journey that has taken her around the world, from a childhood in England, to the mountains of Nepal, to the oceans of New Zealand, and the trails of Argentina, and first across the finish line.

Wellington's first-hand, inspiring story includes all the incredible challenges she has faced – from anorexia to near-drowning to training with a controversial coach. But to Wellington, the drama of the sports also presents an opportunity to use sports to improve people's lives.

A Life Without Limits reveals the heart behind Wellington's success, along with the diet, training and motivational techniques that keep her going through one of the world's most grueling events.

David McColm: Prize pack: Copy of Whistler – An Outdoor Paradise by David McColm and Justin Fabian, and twelve 5”x7” Whistler art cards. (MSRP $95 total)

Whistler-based photographer David McColm writes on his site, "Again this year, I will continue to photograph Whistler's stunning landscapes, it's unique and amazing people as well as many of its outstanding events. I know how fortunate I am to live in and be surrounded by such a limitless wealth of photographic opportunities, so you will notice that my photography is very much Whistler-oriented. At the same time, I also enjoy "getting out" and experiencing other people, places and events. One sport that I love to photograph (and, all too infrequently, DO!) are triathlons. Accordingly, I will continue to photograph a number of triathlons away from Whistler including Ironman Canada as well as the "original" Ironman – the World Championship in Kona.

This package includes a dozen beautiful art cards, along with a copy of this book.
