Kona 2012 – day 2
Another busy day in Kona is almost over and before we check out the Parade of Nations we bring you another set of images from the 2012 Ironman World Championships.

Around 10:30 in the morning the Coffees of Hawaii boat finally came in.
Wherever you are in Kona you see runners and cyclists.
Around noon we also saw Macca motor pacing on the Queen K with a Uplace pro right on him.
Quite a few Pros escape the hustle and bustle in Kona for the quiet Mauna Lani Bay Resort about 40 minutes from town and it is not hard to imagine why.
Meanwhile a bit closer to town the Kona Aquatic Center offers a nice alternative to open water swimming.
