German Pro Markus Fachbach was run down late at the DATEV Challenge Roth for the final podium spot and the German long course title. We took a closer look at his his Canyon Speedmax CF race bike.

Markus Fachbach in action in Roth.

The Canyon Speedmax CF after Fachbach arrived at the check-in.

The cockpit of the Canyon Speedmax CF is very beautifully done.

A bit of customization allows Fachbach to have a bottle mount there.

The bottle cage on the downtube almost matches the paint scheme of the frame.

A look behind the forks show the integrated brakes.

The seattube angle is 73 degrees, but with this post the range goes to 78 degrees.

Fachbach is running a Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 drivetrain.

Fachbach's rear Di2 cable is very stretched.

Markus Fachbach rides a Zipp 808 Firecrest wheel up front with a 23mm Continental GrandPrix TT tire.

A Lightweight disc with a 22mm Continental Competition in the back.

Fachbach makes sure all systems are good to go.
