Shelley Olds’ Cipollini Lógos
American Shelly Olds who races for the Italian Alé Cipollini team snagged the win at the UCI ranked Winston-Salem Cycling Classic with a perfectly timed burst and we took a closer look at her winning Cipollini Lógos race bike. She was a great sport to let us have it as we wanted to grab it right after her win and before she stepped onto the podium.
Olds is only 5 feet 2 inches and thus the tiny Cipollini Lógos frame.
Up close with the front end of this monocoque frame.
No surprise to find Italian components on the this Italian steed.
The fork fresh after the win still had the timing chip attached.
The team is Italian, but Shelley Olds who hails from Massachusetts is indeed an American.
Campagnolo Record brakes front end back.
The race number barely clears tire and saddle on this tiny frame.
Rotor 3D cranks and Q rings are the setup for this sprinter.
Campagnolo Record EPS shifting and a chain that could use a bit of love and attention.
Italian Ursus carbon wheels with Vittoria Corsa CX 23 tires.
Shelley Olds seems to like this Selle Italia Team Issue saddle.
The happy champion on the podium in Winston-Salem.
