Meet the Bianchi Aquila CV

At the 2014 Interbike show we moved the Bianchi Aquila CV bike to the side to capture detailed pics of this bike that is still considered a prototype. Word has it that currently there are only a hand full of these frames. CV stands for countervail.

The Aquila CV makes quite an impression, but that might have to do with the frame size. Seat angle is 76.5.

The low Naca foil shaped cockpit designed by Bianchi features Vision extensions.

A cover on the headtube hides the TRP integrated brakes and assorted cables plus the Junction A box.

Up close with the fork / frame junction.

The brakes are hidden indeed and with the handlebar rotation of 55 degrees, the rubber bump will prevent the impact between the fork with the down tube, in case of crash or unexpected handlebar turn.

The seat cluster is clean and the Di2 battery is hidden inside the seatpost.

Not much to see here folks.

The bike will be offered in Dura-Ace and Ultegra Di2 editions, but mechanical setups should work too.

TRP integrated brakes are hidden below the chainstays.

The bike at Interbike was set up with Shimano Dura-Ace Di2.

This bike was set up with a Fizik Tritone, but a detailed spec was not yet available.

On this bike the seat clamp was about as far forward as it goes.
