Julien Timmerman’s Pearson
French age grouper Julien Timmerman recently finished this custom painted Pearson Z1 with passion, help from friends and carefully selected components. This is also not the first nifty bike he built, and 3 months ago he opened the TIM SPORT triathlon shop – to further fuel his passion. 32 year old Julien does mostly half distance events and he is 1.79 meter tall.

With the TriRig Omega brake the front end looks very clean indeed.
Timmerman opted for USE Tula bars with Profile Design T2 extension and F19 pads. The Di2 battery is in the left extension through Olivier Bierrot and his company BB Preparation.
The USE Tula bars have been around for a while now and are still popular today.
Making sure the cables are not willy nilly all over the place
Julien really likes the Dash Stage 9 saddle and has used them on his custom painted Trek Speed Concept too.

Timmerman rides 50/36 Rotor Q Rings on 172.5mm Left Side power Rotor cranks.
The hardware is all on the non-drive side of these Rotor cranks and Timmerman appears to like Speedplay too.
The rear brake is also a TriRig Omega and tucks in tightly under the chainstay.
The front wheel is a Foglia 50mm, and the rear one a Shimano Pro disc with Veloflex Carbon tires.
