A Men of Triathlon Mo update
On this 9th day of Movember we present the top 8 Men of Triathlon fundraisers so far this year. Last year the Men of Triathlon team was impressive and raised about $30,000 total and was ranked nationally just around the top 20. But this year the the team has had a slow start and we need your help. $3,246 is the amount raised as we speak and that means we are ranked #128 in the country. The current display of mustaches is also very sad, but hopefully that will also change soon.
How can you help? Join our team or donate to the team. When giving you can either to donate to an individual that you like, or to the whole team if you don't want to take sides. It is also a great opportunity for brands to be involved. Wattie Ink for example gave $100 to the team.
Neither Jesse Thomas nor Matt Lieto are yet on the radar in terms of raising money, but we expect them to come on strong.
Sam Kristensen is currently in charge with $715 raised and thus well on the way to his goal of $1,000.
With $286 raised I am surprisingly in second place, but just barely as Levi McNeely is hot on my heels.
Levi McNeely raised $280 and is more than half way to his target.
With $255 to his name, Nils Nilsen is also in striking distance to move onto the podium. Not surprisingly, he has the best picture so far.
John Venable has raised $252 and his motivation is: I've sat with my Dad during chemo too many times… let's find another way.
Mike Abrams is currently in 6th place with $170 raised.
Kristofor Healey has raised $125 so far and that means 7th place for him.
Mark Miller looks handsome with or without a mustache, but he has a lot of work left to do with only $105 to his name.
We will eventually list the top 17 fundraisers, so make a big effort to either move up in the rankings or help your favorite person to do so. The link again is moteam.com/men-of-triathlon. And remember, Movember is not just about mustaches, but also about moving.
Here are the top fundraisers from 2014.
