Clarke, Jenkins win London Triathlon

Great Britons Will Clarke and Helen Jenkins win the Mazda London Triathlon Sunday, while Formula One race car driver Jensen Button records an impressive 2:07:20 finish among thousands of age group triathletes.

Clarke’s 1:44:29 finish outpaced Australian Courtney Atkinson by 19 seconds, with Great Britain’s Stuart Hayes placing third another 37 seconds back.

Jenkins, the 2008 ITU Olympic distance World Champion, took the women’s elite title with a 1:56:09 finish, 37 seconds in front of runner-up Liz Blatchford and Jode Swallow another seven seconds back in third place.
