Yoder, Jerdonek in Columbia
An angry Andrew Yoder blitzed the bike at the 2011 Columbia Triathlon in course record time and cruised to a comfortable win. Lindsey Jerdonek used a strong run to get away from Jasmine Oeinck to take the women's title.
"Felt amazing to get both the bike and course record. I was angry from my ride last week and wanted to get rolling again," said Yoder to slowtwitch.
"I loved the experience of being 'in' the race. Plus, I took 11 minutes off my time from 2009 so I'm happy with that," said Jerdonek. 'It shows what's possible when you believe in yourself."
