On our 5th day here in Kona we were busy with the bike check-in for the 2013 GoPro Ironman World Championships. And it was a long hot afternoon.
Danish Pro Jimmy Johnsen is going into the 2013 GoPro Ironman World Championships ranked #12 and we were able to check out his Ceepo Viper.
Specialized athletes competing during the London Olympics were on bright orange bikes, and here in Kona the Specialized Pros ride 1974 paint scheme inspired Shivs.
The folks at Quintana Roo appeared to hide the development bike they brought to Kona, but we noticed it and managed to pull it away for a few minutes.
Today we stopped by the Aquatic Center in Kona, perused the Expo and ran into quite a few Pros, and the race is now only 2 days away.
Chris Boardman is in Kona this year and he unveiled the new Boardman AiR TTE 9.8 race bike on which Ironman World Champion Pete Jacobs will compete this Saturday.
