Ivan Tutukin won the 2010 Holten ITU Triathlon World Cup and narrowly held off fellow Russian Yulian Malyshev and Portuguese Pro Joao Pereira. Aussie Erin Densham grabbed the women’s title with a slightly more comfortable margin.

Reed and Haskins repeat

Matty Reed and Sarah Haskins repeat as victors at the Lifetime Fitness Triathlon in Minneapolis, Minnesota. With his win Reed now leads the 2010 Race To The Toyota Cup, while 3rd place getter Mary Beth Ellis leads the women’s standings.

Germans win again in Germany

Andreas Raelert stormed to the win at the 2010 Ironman European Championships in Frankfurt, Germany with a superb bike split and held off a stellar field. Sandra Wallenhorst ran down Caroline Steffen to take the women’s title.

The inaugural Abu Dhabi International Triathlon was announced in November of 2009 and made quite an impression a few months later. The Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority now announced that the registration for the 2011 event is open.

Docherty, Samuels in Philly
