When we train for a big event we sometimes forget the world around us. But sometimes the world catches up with us when we least expect it, and that was especially true for 2 athletes who raced in this weekend’s Ironman Florida in Panama City Beach.

For a couple months now there have been rumors about a new triathlon in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and today the race was finally unveiled. Race date is March 13, 2010 and two unique distances can be conquered on that day in a very unique location.
