13 months ago Ryan Barnett was on top of the world. A beautiful and loving family, a great job, a happy go lucky attitude and superb cycling fitness. But a terrible accident in May 2008 turned his world upside down.

Rip Esselstyn competed as a pro triathlete from the late 80’s to the late 90’s and was a superb swimmer and cyclist. He now works as a firefighter in Austin, TX but is now best known for his plant-strong diet.

Olympic Gold medalist Emma Snowsill passed Emma Moffat late in the run to claim the inaugural Dextro Energy Triathlon – ITU World Championship series race in Tongyeong, Korea.
Conrad Stoltz narrowly held off Josiah Middaugh to win the 2009 XTERRA West Cup in Las Vegas. Melanie McQuaid also had a tough fight on her hands with Shonny Vanlandingham on her way to the women’s title.
