It doesn’t have quite the ring of "1001 Arabian Nights," but the Abu Dhabi International Triathlon is equally unforgettable. I’m looking forward to returning to the Emirates for the second edition. My trip in March of 2010 for the debut event convinced me that this race has a place on every triathlete’s "to-do" list.

Our look at bike lights for safety continues with the stunningly bright 900 lumen Cyclops Adventure Sport ADV. This single LED light is an attractive option at $140 for folks who need big output at a reasonable cost. A recreation-focused light, it still has a very functional flashing mode that certainly gets noticed.
In the next edition of our series on bike lights for safety & visibility on the road, we look at the Joystick and Strada front lights, the RedEye rear light, and Flash/Flare front/rear combo from Exposure.
