Julie Ertel finished 19th at the 2008 Beijing Olympics but hasn’t raced a WTS level event since that day. This So-Cal local did not look rusty at all as she finished 3rd American and 23rd overall at the San Diego WTS.

Aileen Reid is one of the premier women on the ITU circuit, but perhaps you know her better as Aileen Morrison. After last year’s Grand Finale Aileen got married and now Reid is on the back of her Irish tri-suit.
Chris Tremonte raced professionally from 2005 to 2012 and while he claims to be semi-retired from racing he is still very fast and is capitalizing on his multi-sport background through several different athletic ventures.
David Kahn works long hours as a practicing dentist, but that doesn’t stop him from competing as a professional triathlete. He won the 2011 Rhode Island and started his season last weekend in San Juan
Nicky Samuels won 2 World Cups and went to the Olympics this year but 2012 was not all roses for her as she dealt with numerous health related setbacks while bravely earning New Zealand’s third country spot.
