In 1997 I entered my first triathlon in Lititz, Pennsylvania. This is the same triathlon that lost its support from the local fire department in 2002 due to an unfortunate association with Harry Potter and alleged witchcraft.
Race directors, and prospective RDs, we’re starting a series on the sorts of things you’ll face producing multisport events. This is a very well written diary authored by an ambitious, successful promoter.
We’ve added some long sessions: one long run (1 hour) and one ride in which we’re looking for a given distance to be covered (30 miles). You’re entering the big time!

The problem with writing a training plan is the fear that somebody might follow it. That’s the case here, with the program we’re going to present. It’s a custom program built and followed by a particular athlete.
Tri bike fit workshop schedule for the 2009/2010 Fall thru Spring campaign is set, we’re open for registrations. Workshops run from early November thru early June.
