Jodie Stimpson joined Alistair Brownlee in giving the British a monopoly on gold medals on the fiendishly steep hills of the Kitzbühel WTS course; surprisingly, Stimpson had the bigger margin of victory.
Olympic champion Alistair Brownlee made the brutal climbs of Kitzbühel look easy, completing the maximum 22.3 percent section on the bike and a similarly steep run in 55:24 with a 36 seconds margin over Mario Mola.
Top pro Richie Cunningham was injured on July 4 north of Boulder after he crashed his bike trying to avoid a pickup truck which he said purposely slammed on the brakes in front of him in an act of road rage.

Super swimmer Eric Limkemann added a superb bike split and a good run to soundly beat Richie Cunningham and Kelly Williamson overcame a 9 minute deficit off the bike with a sizzling run to win Rev3 Williamsburg.
