Paula Findlay’s Specialized Alias

Canadian ITU superstar Paula Findlay raced in the Super Sprint Tri GP in Las Vegas this past week and I took a closer look at her Specialized Alias Pro. Specialized launched this women's specific triathlon bike last year in Kona and was touted as a newby bike of sorts, so I was surprised to see Findlay racing on it, but in all reality there is nothing newby about it. Plus Findlay told me that she loves this bike.

Findlay's Alias Pro awaits the A Finals at the 2014 Super Sprint Tri Grand Prix.

Roval race wheels with Specialized Turbo tires on a bike that sells for $2,600 in a simpler version.

Simple does it.

Findlay rides a 3T Ergosum bar with SRAM Red controls.

No mini extensions, but a barfly mount.

The fork of the Alias Pro connects nicely with the frame.

Only one bottle on the bike prior to the race and that is how she competed.

SRAM Red brakes front and back of this Alias Pro.

167.5mm S-Works cranks with a Quarq power meter.

Paula Findlay races on a Specialized Oura Pro saddle.

I guess there is no need to ask her about her bike fitter.

As we mentioned before, she is a SRAM Red athlete.
