Slow motion Roth 2015 – men
During the 2015 Datev Challenge Roth we captured slow motion bike videos of male pro triathletes Andrew Starykowicz, Nils Frommhold, Timo Bracht, Per Bittner and Chris Bagg. This gives us the opportunity to study the position of these athletes on the bike. Earlier this week we shared a feature with several female pros in slow motion and now here are the men.
Starky recorded a course record 4:09:13 bike split but suffered during the run.
Nils Frommhold won the 2015 Datev Challenge Roth thanks in part to his superb 4:09:30 bike split.
Defending champion Timo Bracht had a big target on his back and ended up in second place.
Per Bittner rode hard and smart to a 4th place overall finish.
American Chris Bagg had to fight hard on the bike after the swim.
Andrew Starykowicz on the throttle early during the bike segment, on the new Orbea Ordu OMP.
German Nils Frommhold also rode inspired aboard this new Canyon prototype.
This is the first season for Timo Bracht on a Quintana Roo, but many years back he rode a Litespeed.
Per Bittner also rode a new bike, the Simplon MR.T2.
American Chris Bagg fully focused in Roth.
