The Scott Plasma 3 build
The current bike build project is the highly anticipated Scott Plasma 3 and the initial setup of this bike is done. We'll be updating details about the ride and various parts as we go along, but for now enjoy this Scott Plasma 3 gallery.
Still not installed is the Garmin 800 display for the Quarq, plus the bars will get wrapped in Fizik tape once it arrives.

The TRP Magnesium R970 SL brakes look great on that Scott Plasma 3 frame and have great stopping power.
Zipp Tangente open tubulars sized 700×21 are the ideal match for the Firecrest clincher wheels.

The rear Zipp 808 Firecrest carbon clincher looks quite aggressive but required a valve extender.
SRAM R2C shifters up front are super tiny.
Zipp quick releases have a very nice shape.
Powered by a SRAM Red rear derailleur and RideOn GoreTex cables.
The heart of this Scott Plasma 3 is the Quarq power meter mated to a SRAM 975 crank in a 175mm length.
May the SRAM Force be with you. Soon though a SRAM Red front derailleur to check the myth of the difference.
This gadget will allow us to fine tune the front derailleur.
A Profile Design Karbon Lite cage on the down tube is the only cage currently on the bike
Different clamps for the seat post allow for different sized rails, ie the over sized Fizik Carbon Braided ones.
