fi’zi:k Tritone saddle unveiled

A first look at the brand new fi'zi:k Tritone triathlon saddle, a product that is a steep departure from the tradition of this Italian brand, but it is also very much fi'zi:k and Italian.

The saddle is beautifully finished indeed and has a lot of well thought out details. It is 24cm long and is 55mm wide at the nose, and it moves to a width of 75mm at the transition and is widest at 135 mm. Rail length is 95mm.

If the saddle does look somewhat familiar, that is not surprising, ISM has indeed inspired quite a few new saddle designs. But now to some of the details of this fi'zi:k Tritone.

The very first impression of the Tritone braided edition is that it is very light. Claimed weight for this carbon braided version is 220 grams.

The Tritone has a dedicated nose area transition hook, but the rear carriage kit could likely also double as one.

The Tritone is also offered in a k:ium rail edition that weighs 250 grams and is shown hear with the carriage kit, cages, a tube and a CO2 cartridge.

The carbon braided edition is only available in all black, the k:ium version in red-black, or white-black.

When the tube is mounted with a thin zip tie it is apparently easy to snap off.

The Tritone saddle should be available in mid October and we will likely soon write more about it.
