Geoff Kabush’s Scott Scale 29
Canadian Olympian Geoff Kabush of the Team SCOTT-3Rox Racing won the short track competition at the 2013 Sea Otter Classic festival aboard his Scott Scale 900 SL 29er and we took a closer look at this fast bike that would be a nice option for an XTERRA race.
Right after the win we snagged the Scale of Geoff Kabush and snapped a few pics.
The headtube junction of this beautiful bike.

Shimano XTR shifting throughout.
Syncros bars and a very wide shallow riser bar.
The very clean Shimano XTR derailleur looks hardly like it has seen action.
Syncros saddle and post complete the package.
The Maxxis Maxxlite 29×2.0 tires have an interesting tread pattern.
The Fox Float 29er fork can be electronically controlled via a remote shifter and a Di-2 battery mounted on the downtube.
The bottom of that battery is visible behind the XTR crank.
Shimano XTR disc brakes front and back.
These ODI grips are very popular.
Another angle shows the very wide bars.
And a closer look shows the Fox electronic toggle shifter to control the fork.
