’13 Kona Top 16 Women Run
Yesterday we featured the top 15 overall men in Kona and today we actually feature the top 16 overall women at the 2013 GoPro Ironman World Championships. We list their running splits, height and weight, plus share what gear they used during the marathon. The highlight of the 2013 race was the stunning running performance of Mirinda Carfrae – her 2:50:38 effort was only bested by two male athletes. But why are we featuring one more female athlete in this update? Age grouper Catherine Faux from the UK finished 10th overall and until this year we never had to deal with that situation in either field, even though it has been close. In fact the male age group champion Kyle Buckingham from South Africa finished 16th overall. But now to the 2013 running Top 16 gallery from Kona.
