2014 Interbike – day 4
Another day in the sin city is over now and here are images of what I spied during the fourth day at the 2014 Interbike show in Las Vegas, Nevada
I heard folks talk very favorable about the GU root beer so I went over there to have a closer look. There was more ooing and aaing at the sampling desk, but I am personally not much of a root beer drinker so I just snapped a picture.
The Sony HDR-AZ1 mini action cam is ultra tiny and is splash proof as is, but a waterproof case is also part of the package. MSRP is $249
Here is the camera next to the original Sony action camera to give a better idea about the size. It weighs 48 grams and measures 74mm x 36mm x 24.2mm.
Brit outfit Zone 3 also showed at Interbike in the triathlon section of the big trade show.
CycleDog recycles old inner tubes to make dog collars. And the collars also feature a bottle opener.
Blue was present at Interbike two and this is the 2015 paint scheme of the Triad SL.
Knight Composites wants to be a big player in the wheel industry and for now they have 3 different size options. The principals behind the brand all have tons of experience in this world.
Kevin Collington was in Las Vegas to check out the show and see the SSTRIGP.
The motocross brand 100Percent is pushing hard now with other performance eye wear.
The Fuelbelt booth was a sea of fluo colors, apparently inspired by running shoe trends.
FuelBelt also showed some safety products that are meant for runners.
Volagi showed a new titanium bike in the TRP booth, and yes, photo bombing is so much fun.
I found a hand model in the Wahoo booth and that hand model was kind enough to hold the TickrX for us. It features motion analytics and the option to work out now and sync later.
All the Pro bikes at Interbike are typically drooled over.
Aerobar Edge is a new product that measures how much time you spend in the aero position. The arrow shaped bit is mounted where you find space and the small sensor sits below the arm pad to tell you what you missed.
It is always fun to check out the Ryders Eyewear booth as every year they are up to something fun. It seems to be a good brand to work for.
The women's finalists take up the start position for the SSTRIGP.
