Arlandson, Henderson repeat at Full Vineman
Dan Arlandson of Burnsville, Minnesota and Whitney Henderson of Lafayette, Colorado earned repeat wins at the 19th Full Vineman Iron-distance triathlon in Santa Rosa, California today.
The 33-year-old Arlandson’s 9:13:10 finish outpaced runner-up Van McCarty of San Luis Obispo, California by 12 minutes 17 seconds and broke his own 2008 mark by 4 minutes 45 seconds.
As of 6 PM, Henderson was the only women’s finisher, hitting the tape in 11th overall in 10:21:54 and topping her 2008 time by 22 minutes and 48 seconds.
