Crowie on book tour

The 3-time Ironman World Champion Craig Alexander is starting his "As The Crow Flies" book tour today with a stop at the Oakley headquarters in Foothill Ranch, CA, and he will be visiting various places across the country until December 11th. But as one champion goes on the road today, another one said good bye to Ironman racing. 4-Time Ironman World Champion Chrissie Wellington announced today that she will no longer compete on the professional Ironman circuit.

Crowie and Chrissie fans though can focus on the "As The Crow Flies" book tour the next few days. They can get a closer look at the great Aussie Craig Alexander who also has won two Ironman 70.3 World Championships and countless other titles, and get their "As The Crow Flies" books signed and personalized.

Our Timothy Carlson reviewed the book and called it a classic. "Robbins’ black and whites are on the level of the great Life Magazine photographers and other masters of the documentary form. Without the eye candy of color, they demand great composition, decisive moments and rigorous technical mastery that capture the drama of quiet and explosively public moments with equal insight," said Carlson about the images by Paul K. Robbins.
