More Norseman pictures
After so many positive responses to our 2011 Norseman features we decided to share another gallery of images from this year's event. It is good that in 2012 the Norseman Extreme Triathlon will offer 2 events on consecutive days. That means instead of 250 starters, 500 athletes from around the world will have an opportunity to experience this event, well, these events.

And in the water we go.
Tom Remman and Tim DeBoom were first and second out of the water.
How many races have you been to where the race director stands in the water to assist all the athletes out.
The water did not look very inviting about 1:30 into the race.
Empty roads are pretty much the norm here.
That is maybe as much of a bunch you see all day.
There are some climbs here for sure…
….and some very dark passages.
That is a decent sized climb with very tiny athletes on it.
Up we go, higher and higher.
Tim DeBooom running in the lead and the sun is finally really kicking.
Tom Remman in hot pursuit.
The last part of the marathon offers stunning views but is extremely difficult.
As we said before.
Race winner Tim DeBoom is glad it is over.
So much media high up on the mountain.
An utterly exhausted Tom Remman after finishing third.
Family usually helps with a speedy recovery.
Susanne Buckenlei also gave it all to win this 20k longer race in record time.
A big celebration the day after with many happy finishers.
