MVC GROUP Acquires 70% of ZOOT

In the first major news for the Hawaii news cycle, and a move that few people would have thought possible, MVC Group has announced the acquisition of 70% of Zoot.

MVC Group most famously is known for the Castelli brand name.

Following the acquisition Doug Vargo, Zoot's current CFO, will become CEO of Zoot and MVC US. Shawn O'Shea will become global head of triathlon for both Zoot and Castelli.

This move not only puts into focus Castelli's desire to have a bigger and better presence in the world of triathlon, but it shows that Zoot's commitment to a global reach for its brand. The rich deep history of both brands coming together will be exciting to watch.
