Luke McKenzie is ready for Kona

With several Ironman wins under his belt Luke McKenzie is looking to step up a few spots in Kona this year from his 15th place in 2009. The Aussie has been in Kona for about a week now and has settled in nicely.

Kaleb Vanort’s race-best 31:59 10k gave him nearly all his 3:38 margin of victory; Mandy McLane’s 2:09:14 finish gave her a 7-second win over Cindi Bannink at USAT Age Group Nationals

Kriat, Meyers in Augusta

Maksym Kriat ran down Marko Albert, David Kahn and a struggling Andrew Yoder on his way to win the ESi Ironman 70.3 Augusta in 3:46:54. Jessica Meyers topped Magali Tisseyre and Desiree Ficker to take the win in the women’s race.

Stoltz, McQuaid win in Ogden

Conrad Stoltz and Melanie McQuaid crossed the line first at the XTERRA USA National Championships in Ogden, Utah; but Josiah Middaugh and Shonny Vanlandingham were crowned as the new US XTERRA Champs.
