A week after becoming the ITU World Champion in Budapest, Hungary, Javier Gomez grabbed the French Grand Prix win in La Baule. Jodie Swallow got away on the bike and held off Andrea Hewitt and Emma Moffatt for the win.

Gambles, Crawford in Wisconsin

Aussie Joe Gambles had a nice Ironman debut with a win at the 2010 Ford Ironman Wisconsin, but he had to chase down a few folks to get it done. Kiwi Gina Crawford broke her own course record from 2007 and won the women’s race with a superb performance.
