A week after becoming the ITU World Champion in Budapest, Hungary, Javier Gomez grabbed the French Grand Prix win in La Baule. Jodie Swallow got away on the bike and held off Andrea Hewitt and Emma Moffatt for the win.

Emma Snowsill came back from injury to win the Dextro Energy-ITU Grand Final , Emma Moffatt took second in the Grand Final in Budapest, but won her second World Championship Series title.
The Aussie Emmas ruled the day in Budapest, with Emma Snowsill taking the Grand Final win and Emma Moffat the World Championship title.
Aussie Joe Gambles had a nice Ironman debut with a win at the 2010 Ford Ironman Wisconsin, but he had to chase down a few folks to get it done. Kiwi Gina Crawford broke her own course record from 2007 and won the women’s race with a superb performance.
