Paula Findlay followed up her win in London with another victory at the ITU Dextro Energy World Championship Series triathlon in Kitzbühel, Austria and thus became the first woman in 2010 to take two wins in the series.

70.3 World Champion Michael Raelert added the European title to his resume with a record breaking win at the 2010 Ironman 70.3 Germany. Yvonne Van Vlerken also grabbed a new course record as she defended her title, but Desiree Ficker was only 22 seconds behind.

Marcel Zamora and Tereza Macel won the grueling Embrunman iron-distance race in France, where an unusually strong field added to the difficulty of one – if not the single – most punishing 112mi/180km bike courses in the sport.

Tim Berkel won his second Ironman distance event with a PB 8:07:39 and Rebekah Keat won her first Ironman distance race since 2007 with an impressive 8:54:36 at the inaugural Challenge Copenhagen.

Stuart Hayes took his best win to date at the ITU Dextro Energy World Championship Series triathlon in Kitzbühel, Austria. After getting in a break of five on the bike, Hayes ran away from the other four and held off all other challengers.

The 26-year-old training partner of triathlon star Rasmus Henning, the tall Dane with a killer bike has been found in the front pack at several significant races around the world. Here at inaugural Challenge Copenhagen, experts say he is ready for center stage.
