Sodaro, Knibb Top Women’s IM Worlds Start List
The final race of Championship Season is nearly upon us, with less than two weeks until the women's IRONMAN World Championships in Kona. And the professional field appears to be turning out in spades, with today's announcement of the WPRO start list.
Defending champion Chelsea Sodaro will look to repeat her performance in the inaugural pro women only race. Perennial podium finisher Lucy Charles-Barclay will have bib #2, with former champion Anne Haug taking #3. Daniela Ryf, looking to earn her sixth IRONMAN World Championship, is #4, and will-she-or-won't-she Taylor Knibb appears to be making her IRONMAN debut, appearing on the start list at #5.
