This week we have noticed the blueseventy TX2000 tri suit, Infinit MUD recovery drink, Newton MV2 racing flats, 3T London themed components, Sun Valley Bike Festival and a unique t-shirt from Uniqlo.

What: blueseventy is well known for their wetsuits, swim skins and other swim apparel and accessories, but this company has quite a few other offerings too, including but not limited to the TX2000 triathlon suit. Updated for 2012, the TX2000 features better UV protection, a Coldblack finish and improved pocket positioning. It is also available as a singlet and short.

Newton MV2

What: The MV2 is the ultra light racing flat from Newton and the black option is new for 2012. Running in a Zero Pitch shoe isn’t for everybody, but then again who wants to be like everybody. Plus it is light and fast, and that is what matters. At $125 the MV2 is actually the least expensive Newton you can have, but this is most likely the shoe with the shortest lifespan – 150-250 miles depending on your running form and efficiency.

Infinit MUD

What: Infinit MUD is a new coffee flavored recovery drink loaded with whey protein, chocolate, coffee, maltodextrine and much more, and oddly this new offering from Infinit is not the only new product with an interesting name. Word has it that the term MUD was inspired by mountain bikers, but the beverage is really for all athletes. So go ahead and have a cup of MUD.

3T ARX London

What: You may not be able to race in any of the London Olympics cycling related events his summer, but you can make your bike feel a bit like it. 3T just announced the London edition component series and as you can see with this ARX Team asymmetric rainbow colored theme stem, you might want to hum your national anthem anytime you go riding with one of these parts. Also available in this scheme are the Ergonova Team bars and Dorico Team seat post, and few MTB items.

Ride Sun Valley Bike Festival

What: The second annual Sun Valley Bike Festival is happening in about a month in beautiful Sun Valley, Idaho. The USA Cycling National XC Championships will be held there among many other events during this 7-day festival. But even if you are not interested in racing, you could explore over 400 miles of continuous singletrack of this amazing venue. Rumor also has it that good food and beverages are within arm’s reach too and plentiful.

Uniqlo Snoopy

What: It must be this Snoopy red baron image why we all seem to dream about wanting to become fighter pilots, race car drivers or a bit more far fetched professional cyclists or triathletes. Uniqlo has a very cool selection of t-shirts and this Snoopy one is one of my favorites. It is about fun and speed, but doesn’t tell the world that cycling or triathlon is our passion.
