What: We recently saw Hollie Avil walk away from triathlon because of an eating disorder and related issues and the same almost happened to American Olympic medalist swimmer Amanda Beard. Her fame started at age 14 at the Olympics in Atlanta, but most fans were completely unaware of the troubles that star athlete hid behind a big beautiful smile and a sexy image. Her very candid book “In the water they can’t see you cry” will most likely make you cry. So get some tissues ready.

Tour de France t-shirt

What: Most of us are completely busy following the 2012 Tour de France event and while we might enjoy sharing that passion with the world, sometimes it is best to be a bit subtle.
