What We Have Noticed: Trix Gear, Crank Brothers …
This week we noticed the Trix Gear race bike cover, Crank Brothers Pica tool, Honey Stinger Strawberry Waffle, The Jersey Project book and a small robot named Evolta.
Trix Gear Race Cover
What: Clearly you can let your bike just get wet during an overnight rain in the transition area or wrap a garbage bag around your prized possession. Trix Gear has a solution for those who don't want to deal with either of those scenarios. They added a fitted and adjustable race cover that is water and UV resistant to their offerings.

Crank Brothers Pica
What: The Pica from Crank Brothers offers quite an assortment of tools in a beautiful compact package. Should your next ride require you to have a chain tool, various spoke, hex or torx wrenches and a Phillips head screw driver, the Pica got you covered.

MSRP: $65

Honey Stinger Strawberry Waffle
What: This editor enjoys the original Honey Stinger Waffle quite a bit and the Vanilla version is actually quite good to and not that different in taste, The all new Strawberry version though tastes quite a bit different and is still oh so delicious.
MSRP: $22.25 (box of 16)

The Jersey Project
What: Many of us love old jerseys but seemingly no one is as obsessed with them as Bill Humphreys. Bill collected over 1200 jersey images and shares them in a passionate way on 200 nicely bound pages. Rumor has it he is already working on the next book project, but for now let us enjoy The Jersey Project.

Panasonic Evolta
What: The 2011 Ford Ironman World Championships take place on October 8th on the Big Island in Hawaii. 16 days later a fairly small robot named Evolta will take on the famous course but at a much slower pace than even the slowest finishers on October 8th. Three different green and white robots will split up the swim, bike and run duties, so it really should be referred to as a relay and not an individual Ironman effort.
