On our 5th day here in Kona we were busy with the bike check-in for the 2013 GoPro Ironman World Championships. And it was a long hot afternoon.

Today we stopped by the Aquatic Center in Kona, perused the Expo and ran into quite a few Pros, and the race is now only 2 days away.

Wednesday in Kona is the day of the Slowtwitch gathering, but of course we saw many other things. So come on in and see what we have got.

Today we are starting with our annual coverage of the Ironman World Championships in Kona. We spent time on the pier, the Queen K and Alii Drive.

We finally have another edition of the popular Pros with their dogs feature. So meet now the very diverse collection of Pro pooches from around the world.

In addition to the big race in Kona there are also several must-do other events going on. New this year is a 2.4 mile open water swim on October 5th, but there is plenty more.

At the inaugural Rev3 Branson Ben Hoffman and Radka Vodickova came out as the champions. For Hoffman this was his first Rev3 start but his 3rd title in Branson.

Beautiful Ogden, Utah hosted the XTERRA USA event again and Leonardo Chacon and Lesley Paterson were quickest to the finish.

We spent another day inside the Mandalay Bay for the 2013 Interbike trade show and we spotted several interesting items, the highlight though came at night.
