The Boardman of Amanda Stevens

Doc Amanda Stevens was first out of the water in Kona in 54:25 and then charged up the road with Jodie Swallow. In the end she drifted back in the standings with a 3:34:26 run but we will surely see more from her. Here now is a look at her Boardman Air TT 9.4.

The race bike 2 days after the big raced – untouched but not unloved.

I have always liked the splash of color on the inside of the fork and rear end of the Boardman bikes. The brakes are nicely hidden.

Stevens rides an ISM Adamo Podium saddle.

The position of the Vittoria Pit Stop mounted under the saddle shows us that Stevens always has a forward position on that bike.

In case you wondered about the electric taping job on the seat post, it is not to cover a strange sponsor, but to hold on the race number.

Stevens had an XLab Aero TT and and XLab Gorilla cage on her Boardman frame.

The Vision Metron 165mm cranks on Amanda Stevens' Boardman have 55/42 FSA Krono rings and Speedplay pedals.

Inspirational messages were scribbled all over that Torpedo.
