by Herbert Krabel, September 15, 2011The second day of the Interbike Outdoor Demo started with a heavy rain but that did not stop dealers from checking out the various bikes and other gear available for demo.
Andrew Starykowicz and Malaika Homo took the wins at the 2011 Rev3 Cedar Point with the rich $100,000 purse for the Pros.
Ezequiel Morales and Jessica Jacobs reigned supreme at the 2011 Ford Ironman Wisconsin. Our shooter Kerry Yndestad was there to capture the action.
It is Interbike time again in Las Vegas and today was the first day of Outdoor Demo in Boulder City, NV. We were there to bring you images from this annual pilgrimage.
Craig Alexander grabbed his second 70.3 World Championship title, but this time it happened at the new venue in Las Vegas. Melissa Rollison fulfilled all pre-race hype and expectations and ran away with the women’s title.
Aussies grabbed the titles in Las Vegas and occupied quite a few of the top ten spots, 8 to be precise. But there was much more going on race day.
Today the Marines Ironman 70.3 World Championships athletes checked in their bikes at T1 between noon and 6pm and we were there to check it out.
Alistair Brownlee put on a dominating performance in Beijing and grabbed the 2011 ITU World Championship title. Sven Riederer finished second on the day but third placed Jonathan Brownlee grabbed the runner-up spot in the series.
Mathew Sharp from Great Britain won gold at the ITU U23 World Championships In Beijing, China and fellow Brits David McNamee and Tom Bishop earned silver and bronze. American Greg Billington finished fourth.

Kiwi Pro Gina Crawford had quite a bit going recently but not much evolved around triathlon. Crawford gave birth to a baby boy a couple months ago and her world was shaken by the Christchurch earthquakes.
The official last day for Eurobike is on Saturday but we are concluding our coverage of this 2011 trade show today with another gallery of products and people we came across.
